Diamond is a rare gem found underground. They spawn in veins of 1-2 at around the same depth as Plasteel and Gold. They are used mainly in laser production.
When picked up, you will unlock a new Research Topic for Diamonds 100 RP, which then unlocks access to Laser Lenses and Laser Technology.
