Ammo is a resource used by guns. There is currently only one type of ammunition, used by all weapons, and is crafted in the Armorer. It can also be obtained in small amounts from Chests, Drop Pods, and Raiders.
Tips
- Colonists will also need an amount of ammo in their inventory to defend themselves against Raiders and aggressive animals/monsters. They currently do not pull ammo from Stockpiles.
- You should always have ammo in your inventory. Without it, you cannot use guns. Larger amounts are recommended if you plan to use any fast-firing weapons like shotguns, SMGs, Automatic rifles, etc.
