A Drop Pod is a container that will spawn when your start the game on the first planet, and looks like a damaged pod/capsule, they will also be spawned to drop off colonists randomly across the planets.
- A notification of "A Drop Pod has landed to the East/West"
- 20 Slots
Tips
- Can be opened and will contain a random selection of starter survival items (like Axes, Basic pistols, Ammunition, and Food).
- It can also be broken down into scrap metal with a Pickaxe.
- The pod can be shown randomly burning, but the flames will not damage you.

These are the same escape/drop pods shown in the intro animation descending toward the planet.
